The New Yorker now has a custom iPad app. tomorrow. Issues on the iPad will contain all the content of the printed magazine, but optimized for reading on the iPad. They will also include bonus material such as audio, video, slideshows, and additional cartoons. The Motorola Droid R2D2 will be available September 30th. There are rumors of a faster processor than the Droid 2 but that is unlikely. It most likely will only have cosmetic features that make it resemble R2D2 from Star Wars.
